Kristine Wexler leads Bernstein’s private client practice in San Diego, where she is dedicated to expanding the firm’s local presence and delivering exceptional service to clients. Advising high-net-worth individuals and families since 2000, Kristine specializes in guiding clients through complex investment and planning decisions to help them achieve their financial goals. Before her current role, Kristine served as vice president and wealth advisor in Bernstein’s Chicago office and previously spent 19 years at Bessemer Trust as a senior client advisor. Her commitment to excellence was recognized with the Business Woman of the Year award by the San Diego Business Journal in 2025. Kristine holds a BS in biology and philosophy from Syracuse University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, both awarded cum laude. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and serves on the executive board of Burling Bank, a privately owned Chicago-based bank. Active in the San Diego nonprofit community, Kristine is passionate about supporting local charitable organizations and fostering positive change. She is a board member of the San Diego Humane Society and Community Resource Center.
