Sonia Sharma Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in the Center for Autoimmunity at La Jolla Institute for Immunology in La Jolla, California USA. Her lab applies unbiased, genome-scale approaches to understand innate immunity, the body’s early immune response. Her work integrates human bio-sampling and preclinical models of immune disease. Recently, she has focused her studies upon studying the molecules that regulate the immune system differently in men and women.
